Point of query, when is the availability of fire extinguisher? I need to replace mine already and I can't seem to find the right person to talk to.

The Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control was created by enactment of HB12-1283, which was signed by Gov. Hickenlooper on June 4, 2012. The Division of Fire Prevention and Control was created in the Department of Public Safety from the former Division of Fire Safety and transfers the fire responsibilities from Colorado State University/Colorado State Forest Service.

To accomplish the orderly transfer of responsibilities from CSU/CSFS, a Transition Advisory Committee (TAC) was established from employees of the two agencies and representatives of stakeholder organizations.

The TAC wants your involvement in the the process of structuring Homeland Security and Emergency Management.

We want you to be informed throughout the process, and will be posting information and updates here. We will also be asking for your feedback as the work progresses. We are all in this together.

Feel free to talk with any committee member - they welcome and need all comments. We will also be offering other ways for you to communicate with the committee in the near future.
